Hi welcome to my store. My name is charis williams I am the owner of star's art creations AU.

I make my 3D products locally in Wooli New South Australia.

A bit about me:

I got into 3D printing in 2021 by an accident as I used to do resin art and saw that there was a resin 3d printer and was like "I wonder what a resin 3D printer does?" so I did a lot of research online such as YouTube and after a couple of videos I really wanted to try it out. So after a couple of months of research I brought my very first Anycubic mono x resin 3D printer. As anyone does they do a couple of test prints and basic prints but I really wanted to push the limits of the resin 3D printer and try articulating fidget toys. So I saw online Cinderwing3D dragons were really popular so I got a Patreon membership and started experimenting. It was really hard at first because the dragons would break when I tried to get it off the build plate or little pieces would fuse together and then break when I tried to unfused them but with more testing and experimenting the dragons would come off the build plate easier and then I begin started selling them. These resin dragons became popular at markets so then that's when I wanted to experiment with FDM printers. I started with a voxelab single filament printer then a couple of months later I upgraded to two ender 3 V2 Neos single filament printers. Then the fidget toys were popular printing with FDM printers and the kids loved the fidget toys so I wanted to try multicoloured 4 filament colour printers. So I upgraded to a anycubic kobra 3 V1 printer and absolutely loved it and have been printing with three of the anycubic kobra 3's ever since.

Why do I 3D print fidget toys?

Because I have Autism and when I was at school unfortunately I had nothing to fidget with unless it was a pen clicking and drive everyone insane. So I wanted to make something for people that have autism or anxiety that would help them focus or help them be calm when they are over stimulated. These fidget toys are quiet so they are great for having at school or a work place as you can have it on your desk or pocket and won't make so much noise to distract others around you.
